Our Mission

Silver Spring Village sustains a robust neighbors-helping-neighbors network that support older adults who wish to continue living as independently as possible and to be fully engaged in their community.

Silver Spring Village is not a place, but rather a community of friends and neighbors who look out for one another and offer a helping hand wherever it is needed. Nearly a third of our members are also volunteers, and this reciprocity—the giving and receiving of help and friendship—forms the bedrock of our Village. Members make new friends, exercise their minds, explore their creativity, and enjoy easy access to the kinds of help they need when, where and how they want it.
